These terms govern your use of Guaca, available at useguaca.com and as apps for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Guaca is a personal finance tool: it lets you record and visualize your net worth, budgets, expenses, and income in Colombian pesos and US dollars, and project retirement scenarios.

Guaca does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Valuations, currency conversions, retirement projections, and tax estimates are approximate calculations for informational purposes and may contain errors or become outdated. Verify any figure with a professional before making financial decisions.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Guaca. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that happens in your account. Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access.

• Do not use the service for illegal or fraudulent activities.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data or compromise the system's security.
• Do not resell, copy, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not overload the infrastructure with abusive automated use.

Some features may require a paid subscription, managed through the app stores (App Store) or our payment providers. Prices, billing periods, and renewal conditions are shown at the time of purchase. Cancellations and refunds for purchases made through the App Store are governed by Apple's policies.

You can connect external services (exchanges, wallets, payment platforms) using credentials or API keys that you provide. We recommend using read-only keys whenever the provider supports them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or the accuracy of the data they return.

The financial data you record in Guaca belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and sync it across your devices for the sole purpose of providing the service. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Guaca's software, design, trademarks, and content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you — only a personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the figures shown are accurate. We may modify or discontinue features at any time; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for economic losses arising from decisions made based on the information shown by Guaca. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, notifying you of the reason. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to any consumer protection rules that apply to you in your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date, and if a change is significant we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the service means you accept the terms in effect.
